Triboro Staffing was founded by Pam Whitaker, who led one of the Triad’s most respected staffing firms from 1997 to 2018. During her time at Key Resources, Pam built a reputation for placing the right people in the right roles and for creating trusted relationships across industries.
Rachel Gambardella and a new team of energetic, talented recruiters have come together with Pam to carry that legacy forward. We’ve built a staffing company that reflects what we know works: placing people with care, supporting long-term goals, and doing the hard work it takes to earn trust. Our team remains deeply connected to the Triad, and our approach is rooted in real experience, flexibility, and a clear understanding of what employers and job seekers need today.

Our founder, Pam Whitaker, brings enthusiasm and synergy to Triboro Staffing. From 1997 to 2018, she built Key Resources, Inc. into one of the largest and most respected staffing services in the Triad. After stepping away, Pam saw a need in the local workforce and felt called to return. She created Triboro Staffing to continue connecting hardworking people with companies that value them.
Pam partnered with Rachel Gambardella, a former senior recruiter at Key Resources. With Rachel’s dedication to both clients and employees, she was the natural choice to lead Triboro’s operations. Rachel quickly built a team committed to being flexible, motivated, and creative. Together, they are focused on placing the right people in the right roles and building strong partnerships with lasting impact.
I believe success begins with understanding. That means listening closely to what each client needs and what each candidate hopes to achieve. My approach is rooted in building strong partnerships and making thoughtful placements. I focus on matching people not just to a job they can do, but to a role where they can thrive. True growth happens when people feel seen, supported, and set up for success. At the heart of every placement is a person, and I’m passionate about helping each one succeed.
